Rice flakes porridge with banana
Whole grain rice flakes look a bit like pale golden or honey-coloured rolled oats. With cooked banana they make a pleasant porridge for baby or toddler.

Ingredients:
• 2 level tablespoons whole grain rice flakes • 100 ml water • 50 ml prepared follow-on formula* or standard milk • 1 small banana or ½ a medium-sized banana
Method:
Microwave method: Cook time for 800 watt oven Put rice flakes and 100 ml of water in an oven-glass bowl (about 10 cm deep). Microwave for 2 minutes and then stir. Microwave for another 2 minutes. Stir. Add the formula or milk and peeled, sliced banana. Microwave for 2 more minutes. Allow to cool to serving temperature.
Serve warm.
