Suitable from 7-9 months Makes 1 ¾ cups

Ingredients:
• 1 ½ cups peeled, diced pumpkin (seeds removed) • 1 cup peeled, diced carrot • 1 ½ to 2 cups water • 1 cup finely chopped fresh spinach leaves • Optional: 1 to 2 scoops of follow-on formula powder*
Method:
Add diced pumpkin and carrot to boiling water, cover, and cook until just tender. Add extra water if needed during cooking.
Add chopped spinach and cook for about 5 more minutes.
Mash with a potato masher, to give a slightly lumpy texture.
Cool to suit a baby before serving.
Optional: Just before serving, use a fork to whisk in a little follow-on formula powder. Or thin with a little prepared formula or standard milk.
