Saucy peanut butter dip* for vegetables

Ingredients:
• 1 tablespoon oil • 1 small clove garlic, peeled, crushed, or 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion • 4 tablespoons peanut butter * • ¼ cup hot water • ¼ cup standard milk or prepared Toddler Milk* • About 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Method:
In a small saucepan on low heat, gently cook garlic or onion in oil for a minute, stirring. Do not brown.
Stir in peanut butter. Gradually stir in water, then milk.
Add lemon juice to taste.
Remove from heat as soon as it is blended.
Serve warm or cool as a dip or sauce for cauliflower or broccoli florets or other vegetables.
Thin with more water if it gets too thick on standing.
