No matter what stage your baby or toddler is at, there is likely to be some worries about making the best decisions for your baby. Some mums can feel a bit embarrassed when they first call but there’s really no need, we get all sorts of questions and that’s what we’re here for! What’s reassuring to many people is when I tell them that many mums have experienced the same problems as them. Realising you’re not alone makes such a difference.

Experience

I thought my pregnancy was well planned, but I hadn’t planned on being so tired, along with morning, afternoon and evening sickness! When my son came along he was a ‘happy spiller’ and I remember how worried I was that more milk seemed to come out than I was feeding him but he seemed to always be happy and thriving!

Some Useful Tips
  • If baby is growing and happy, then you are already doing well.

  • If you feel ‘snowed under’ then remember to ask for help. There may be others who are experiencing the same things and remember that ‘a problem shared can be a problem halved’.

  • Build your confidence in small steps, and do take time for relaxation when you can.
